Instead why not? CrossFit is a great form of exercise when done properly, taught and coached well with good programming.

 

  • CrossFit is highly scalable, meaning that all movements have a modified version to suit all fitness levels.

  • Weight and volume can also be scaled to fit any athlete's needs.

CrossFit is definitely open to everyone, but may not meet everyone's workout preferences, as some individuals do not love timed workouts or excel in what they may feel is a competitive atmosphere, others may not enjoy being out of their comfort zone and that is completely okay. 

But for those that stick with it, CrossFit offers a unique community aspect where all involved are encouraged by not only the coach but other members. The last to finish is typically the one who receives the most encouragement as members want to see each other succeed.
